Remembering Riding the Yucatán 2025
Two Wheels, Good Company, and a Yucatán Adventure
Some trips don’t take much convincing. Mention motorcycles, Mexico, and a week of exploring, and I’m already checking the calendar.
In early December 2025, my cousin, Lucy, and I headed down to Cancún for a riding adventure through the Yucatán. I’d learned about it earlier that year through Adam Sandoval, who was planning to participate. My cousin and I jumped into the fray and got our reservations locked in ASAP.
It did not disappoint.
We spent a week riding, enjoying daily excursions, staying at all-inclusive resorts, and venturing into parts of the Yucatán we’d never personally explored. We covered fewer than 1,000 miles, but the mileage was only one piece of the experience. Having time to get off the bikes and enjoy the places we’d come to see made the trip that much better.
Lucy and I have spent plenty of time enjoying Mexico, but exploring by motorcycle added a whole new dimension. There’s something about being out on two wheels that makes the journey as memorable as the destination. Add my cousin to the mix, and we had the makings of a pretty incredible week.
The combination worked: riding, excursions, all-inclusive hospitality, and the chance to experience somewhere new with people I love spending time with. That’s a vacation I can get behind.
We came home with great memories and every intention of doing it again. Now we’re planning another go-around in 2027!
Mexico, motorcycles, and good company. Count us in.
