 I used to think that I had a hoarding problem of sorts.  I'm really bad about collecting things sometimes.   I first noticed this with NASCAR, and realized it's with pretty much anything I touch/experience Working out. Back when I was 13 shit went sideways in a scuffle with .. I can't resist...  two racists (true .. of course never used that term back then)... and I came out on the losing end.  Hey .. I was freshman and they were seniors.  My excuse and I'm sticking with it.  On the upside I began taking marital arts and lifting weights.   Lets just say . it was the last time I ever came out on the wrong side of a fist fight.  As every year went by, I spent more time in the gym.   I probably peaked at about 23 to 28 age time frame, but still continued to work out hours a day until my 30s.   Around 40, I slowed down but wasn't until about 50 that .. it was on the back burner in the big picture.  I still work...

Ordered some stickers for the windows and badges for the fenders of several jeeps ... and .. .it got me to thinking. I've been fanatical about Jeeps for almost four decades now.  Knew I'd written about this a lil before ....  but...  continuing the journey ... Sticker for the rear window.  Got 4 different colors Fender badge Previously written posts .. It's a Jeep thing ... .. It's a Jeep thing ....(part 2)   And a few others here  . .   Since then .... few things have changed. I made the tough decision to sell my '02 TJ (Dusty) to my cousin.  The cool part is after he had it shipped to FL, he did some upgrades and fixes then shipped it to Puerto Rico where it now resides at his new home. Looking forward to a trip there this year and see him, Darlene.. and ... Dusty! I'd bought that to do some hard core 4 wheeling but ... only had it out once, in AZ early last year.   In retrospect, wish I'd pushed it a lil harder. "gray wolf" in MS...

Several months back, I came up with this idea... which became a plan  .. and now a reality.   Bringing together many of my friends/peers that work together at some level, and head to Mexico!  Many know I go there often, many have never been.  Well, we just changed that! Seven of us (couples) jumped into the fray; game on!  Picked a nice all adult AI (All Inclusive), everyone locked in their vaca' time, got a travel agent to coordinate this for the whole group.  Fourteen all together rolling in.  Looking forward to meeting some of the wives I've never had the opportunity to meet prior.  Viva la' Mexico!  Secrets Maroma Beach, here we come..... Paradise! Two days prior.  Mama picking out bathing suits and dresses.  Me, I'm counting bills for tips ($2 bills) and for downtown to 5th Avenue (Pesos and more Pesos!).  We've been doing Airbnb's now down there for quite a few years, so I've gotten more accustomed to bringing down P...

 Wow...that was a quick one!   Last week we headed up to Montana, almost driving straight through.  We'd spoken to Mike, Lucy's' brother this past summer when he'd offered.  Other family members were rolling in, he's off the grid near Ennis MT and we're in.  We haven't done a trip together up in that area since 2007, and it was time!   Lucy 'hates' the cold due to her RA, so this was a bit of a stretch for her. She even questioned why we were going at first. In the end, all worth it and glad we made the trek. Well, we loaded up the Grand Wagoneer and headed out Monday opting to drive instead of flying so we could bring Peanut along. I really wanted to drive straight through but hit the wall late that evening so we grabbed a room a the La Quinta in Casper Wyoming.  Not to self; NEVER stay there again.. What a  shit hole.  We needed a pet friendly hotel and this was the only place with a room available.  Bad decision.  I was...
