If you could, would you?

Someone ever piss you off so bad, you'd like to .. well.. you know... Happened to me a few times over the years...   Those people are still walking this earth for two simple reasons. 1. My belief in  God 2. I don't like the idea of a roomie' named Bubba' in a small cell Now, I've been known to lose my cool.  Those that truly know me, know I've gone off the deep end a few times.  If the planets line up ...  Smart Ass  + Alcohol + Spontaneous Sitation + Minimal witnesses ( I broke that rule last time ) ..  Shit happens. Good news is , nowadays after my temper flares, I tend to calm down, rethink, get pissed again, forgive, blah blah .. and move one. Got to admit, an episode a few days ago really had me thinking...  "Do I put this fuck out of his misery ( not terminal, just require a lil medical assistance after I'm done.. )?"   Of course not.   The BS that caused it is permanently on the 'net.   I prefer...

Who's got the nicest bike?

I’ve got a secret to tell… I like my bike better than yours As most know, I’m fanatical about Indian Motorcycles.   I also like Harleys…   and Vic’s .. and Triumphs.. and many other makes / models.    Some bikes have a cool rake that draws me in. Some, their paint job.   Some, the OEM add-ons.   Some their aftermarket add-ons.   Some, their custom pieces. But, here’s the kicker.   If that’s what I wanted, whether that be their bike, or your bike…. I would get it.   I would customize it equal or better.   That’s the way I’m wired.   I have a bad habit of over thinking things sometimes.    Never being happy.   You know, hand the bike to someone to customize exactly as I requested, and then wonder… “What if I had done this differently?’. “Why didn’t it do it ‘that’ way?”...    And sometimes, I redo things, bigger and better. Then... rethink it all over again. But, I ride what I ride because...

300

Three Hundred….    300 …    Three zero zero …    That number has been haunting me for eight years… I remember seeing a pic of me in Aug 06… smiling,  tanned, ‘bigger than life’... and... 306lbs. In the spring of ’07, I’d had enough... and got somewhat serious with my diet.   I got down to something like... 274 I believe … Swore I’d never go back. Then, it creeped back.   I remember seeing 280, then 290.   Thought it was just water weight (now, that’s funny!).   Before I knew it, I saw 300 again.   WTF? I remember going to Mexico in Jan ’12 and seeing a couple of pics and thought... wow!    Yep, I was 305 and that was some serious stomach girth!   Upon return, hit the gym for several months, felt good... then... started traveling for business, and …    found myself back in Mexico in May of ’12 celebrating our 25 th Anniversary and Vow renewals… at... yep, over 300.   Just an hour ago...

Anyone else see this all the time on Facebook?  If you're part of a group(s), you probably see it often! I don't know what it is, but some folks just do NOT understand the basics of privacy settings within Facebook.  I've posted  hints, posted pics, walked folks through it via PMs, via Phone Calls, and after the 3rd.. or 4th .. or...  well, they usually get the point.  Then the following day, they do it again. If I'm on my desktop, I'll post this: "The source you shared , whether it be a picture or a status , or ??  .. had permissions tied to it and wasn't publicly shared.  This is common when sharing from another group that we don't all belong to , or from a friend's page that isn't a mutual friend, and they aren't sharing it publicly. The simplest thing to do is if it yours, change the permissions to PUBLIC.  Or,  save the pic to your computer/smart phone,  and upload here for all to see, or to copy past the status or ...

In the early days,  I'd done a couple of extended multi-State Rides ( Sturgis, etc ) , and a lot of quick rides out enjoying the wind, way too much bar-hopping,  but just never embraced the lifestyle so to speak. I've always loved my toys ( "He whom dies with the most toys wins!" was/is my mantra) , but riding bikes back then was just part of havin...
