I've had some fun with this over the last year or so, mainly on a diff' blog I used posting daily pics, memes, zingers ... you name it .  Pick a time and place, have a great time .. and ..  FU Ida Have to admit .. lil' bit of stress this weekend.  Last week, a disturbance quickly became a tropical storm.. then .. a Cat 1.  We now had Hurricane Ida headed towards the Gulf Coast and .. lets just say .. I have a lil' bit at risk here?  With a home in Galveston right on the beach and a home in Mississippi less than 1,000 ft from the beach ... I might have been puckering a lil? Galveston this morning ... FU Ida! :) It quickly became apparent the Galveston home was clear and thank you Lord for that!  After a storm last year, we and our neighbors had to rebuild our yards and dunes and it would have been disastrous at this point.  But now, our MS home in at risk.  Early tracks showed it potentially coming our direction and I have family living 5 miles west of my home also at risk.  As a Cat 1, they were predicting Cat 3 levels which would quickly change to Cat 4 then Cat 5!  Kicker is, this was on the 16th anniversary of Hurricane Katr...

 ....... closed the chapter on a multi year situation this week.  In conjunction, had a motorcycle newbie attempt to bust my balls with some BS asking why I don't promote rides, run events because I stated my opinion on a specific ride that ...myself and many others disagreed with ......My response was " I didn't say I PROMOTE ... I attend and support events .. I ride multiple brands. I don't have enough time in the week to ride all my bikes much less worry about other's riding. IIRA, IMRG, IOA and others have numerous events throughout the year. After a nauseating 3 years ... he finally got a few to show up. Looks like you all had a good time. .. Last month, I officiated a ceremony for my Nephew , last week for my Niece in Galveston, Texas.  Wasn't the original plan but she downsized her original wedding plans and moved the location to the coast from Louisiana.  When she heard I was doing my Nephews, I got the request which I accepted with a smile.  I may have a new business model here? Well, not everything is simple in the big picture.  Initially she asked if we could do the ceremony in the sand in front of my Beach House .. but ... I thought the home would be sold and I would be looking for a hotel room that weekend.  As it turns out, it's not ready to be put on the market yet so we are headed down to stay in the big house for the weekend.  And since this may be the last time, we invited a house full to stay with us.  Half of that was folks in the wedding party and/or attending. But, as we got closer, folks starting dropping off due to personal situations.  My daughter had to canx. ...

Wrote about this awhile back, when I realized you could buy Bitcoin via PayPal .. I dropped $1k in .. shot up to about $3500 .. before falling back to $2k which it is today.  Still, 100% in a year?  Not bad .. .but I'm not pulling that out.. I'll it ride for another decade. Decided to delve into the other options.  I've got somebody making me montly payments via PayPal, so I've started up with the other 3 options .. Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash and Litecoin.    Take several hundred a month and split it between the other three.  When they have as much as the Bitcoin account in there, I'll split it 4 ways and see how this all plays out...   they hit you with about a 2% surcharge for the transaction ...   WTF ..  let it ride!
