Why do I Ride?
Just read a heart wrenching summary of a Riders' recovery after a near fatal accident about 2 years ago.... Additionally, this morning, I learned of some friends losing their son last night in a bike accident ( still shook up about that one ) ... Some folks question 'why we ride' ... Is it safe? .. is it smart? .. is it...., you get the point.
We ride because its who we are. Some of ride with helmets.. some without. Some in full riding gear, some not so much . It's who we are....it's our choice ..
If I was going to worry about the 'dangers' of Riding a bike all the time.... I'd be giving in to our primal fears. I'd sell the bike(s) . I'd sell the sports car. .. I'd just drive around in my F350 Dually .. maybe with some extra metal on the Front Bumper to protect my paint when running over the imports and other inadequate vehicles on the roadways... but ... I don't worry.
Life is Short... enjoy it and love those around you while we can
