I've been 'involved' in the Indian Motorcycle Community since '09, right after I purchased an '09 Kings Mountain Vintage Chief.  Initially, via the Indian Motorcycle Community Forum, then via the Iron Indian Riders Association (forum and events).  Around that same time, FB picked up steam and you could find some folks out there that you had something in common with (Indians!).  By 2013, Polaris was introducing the fourth generation of bikes, new forums were popping up, new owners piling into the mix, and things were spinning in full force if you were in the web (no explanation needed for those that know). Approximately 24 hours ago, the IMTC posted this After that was posted by IMTC, over 100 comments from both sides of the fence, and more than a just a confused few, were posted.   The Sheep were in full force, and several folks gave a point of view, somewhat in support of the original IMTC post.  But two 'people' began chiming in with a LOT of info that hasn't been in the public.  First was from Johnny Anderson.   After reading this guy's posts for awhile, I headed to his profile on FB and realized quickly it was a 'fake' profile, most likely created to allow someone to express their opinions w/o retribution.  Now, behind that profile has to be an email address.  My guess is it's bogus as well.  But FB would most likely be able to pinpoint the source via IP addresses. Originally, I didn't want to go this year.  Things had changed.  Things got convoluted  .. but..  some of my new friendships have blossomed, and this trip was calling my name.  I've gotten close to Rick and Holly Dittel.  My friendship with Gary Groustra was growing.   I'd finally met his wife Cheryl and also some of the other North Winds folks a few months ago in Durango.  I was looking forward to meeting Tim Neid and his wife.  Linda and Stefanie, I'd promised I'd be there. Gary Blomberg and I'd been chatting.   So many other folks; Mustache Mike, Mark Petersen.. the list goes on and on. The last few years I've gotten to know Mustache Mike better and better as well.
