Just an East Texas Biker ...

This was specific to the CVMA but....  hit a lil bump in the road in late '22 which got me rethinking things.   Most of what I do on 2 wheels is and will be CVMA, but no longer dedicating this blog to it.  It's ... all inclusive about my life as a motorcycle rider. 

Used to have an East Texas Biker FB Page and Group.. but...  that's long gone with my old profile.  Hell, I haven't even looked to see if it's still up or not.  I can't manage it with the current profile, so .. f' em.  It all goes here....  Sort of like the old days.  Me rambling and most other people, really don't give a shit.  But...if I posted pics and words, must've happened :)

Update... I've gotten past that lil hiccup from late '22 and most of it is CVMA related nowadays.  But overall, about life .. my life .. on 2 .. sometimes 3 .. wheels.  Hell, 99% CVMA related.  I rarely do random Bike Rallys anymore.  Rarely doing brand specific events anymore.  My personal schedule is based on my work and CVMA events and meetings on my Calendar.  Hate to admit it...   but even my work schedule, sometimes is based off my CVMA 'life.'  Who'd of ever saw that coming several years ago?

As I type this part of the update (Sep 2025), I recently turned 65.  I've got peers in my age group that can no longer ride on 2 wheels; they moved to trikes. I've got some that question their ability to do long rides anymore.  Me, I feel like I'm still warming up...   planning my first 1500 mile Iron Butt for 2026.  My Dad rode into his 80s.  Hopefully, I'll be posting in this blog for more .. than just the next decade.  We shall see...........
