ZRB Fundraiser

Nine days ago, this popped up on Zach Romo's FB Page:  "Not how I wanted to start our vacation. That trailer is supposed to be full. There are truly terrible people in this world. We will be posting pictures of everything that’s gone, soon, so y’all can keep an eye out. I just can’t wrap my head around how a person can do this. "   This was along with pics of his band's trailer that had been broken into, with most/all of their equipment stolen.  I was in complete disbelief.   It seemed like it was within minutes that Chris Young, owner of SWG announced he was having a fundraiser at his bar/grill.  I thought originally he'd posted it, but looking over the mayhem from that day on Social Media, I just know it was happening there and coming together quickly. Lot of folks posting it and tagging him, so it shows up multiple times.   That same day, a FB fundraiser was kicked off by Cathe Gordon and things were quickly accelerating.  The goal kept being raised and within 24 hour it had hit $11k raised ( that was something like $10k plus to the band after FB takes it's cut).  Wow!! I did my part and shared the post on my FB page, threw a few bux into the pot and put it on my calendar for the SWG party for ZRB

Sunday quickly gets here and early on some crazy weather was threatening but by 3pm, it was
Leanne was high bidder
nothing but sunshine and warm temps!  We rolled in, bid on several items, grabbed a 4 top table outside, ordered up some cold ones, and enjoyed the party!   Got a chance to BS with Zach.  Got a chance to BS with Chris. Local friends were rolling in, and we had Donnie and Jill with us.  We'd kicked it up at a party at our place the night before, but we were all up for Round 2! Lasted several hours; good time!

I don't know the exact amount that was raised, but Zach told me when he walked into the bar a fan came up and handed him several thousand.   Ten Thousand from the FB fund.  And, I'm guessing 5-15k that day at SWG.   It won't replace the equipment that had sentimental meaning to them, but I've got to believe they are 100% set with new equipment to continue on and build their career as they are skyrocketing with Success.

ZRB.  Your fan's love you all.  We wish you nothing but success!
