ETA is back!?!?!?

ETA Cruises: Back From the Dead… or Just Another AI Fever Dream?

There I was, minding my own business, when my old ETA Motorcycle Cruises posts suddenly started getting traffic again. Not one or two random clicks either — enough to make me think:

"Wait a minute… did somebody actually revive this thing?"

So naturally, like every aging biker with internet access and too much caffeine, I went digging.

WHOIS lookup showing the mysterious domain resurrection.

The Original ETA: Gone Like Free Beer at Sturgis

For anyone who missed the drama, ETA Motorcycle Cruises was basically declared DOA around 2020.

The old references floating around the web said things like:
• “ETA Motorcycle Cruises, LLC: DEAD”
• “ETA closed its doors”
• “cruise-eta.com: DEAD”

Then COVID hit the cruise industry with the subtlety of a drunken dude on a Road Glide trying to park downhill.

But Then… The Domain Rose From the Grave

I checked the WHOIS data and nearly spit coffee across the desk.

The domain cruise-eta.com was suddenly alive again. Updated in 2024.

Which immediately raised several important scientific questions:
1. Is Wallach even alive?
2. Did somebody buy the domain?
3. Did AI become sentient and decide to start a cruise company?

The AI Smell Test

You know how you can tell when AI built a website?

✅ Everyone has perfect teeth
✅ Nobody is actually riding motorcycles
✅ Every sentence sounds inspirational but says absolutely nothing
✅ The About page somehow explains less than a Tinder bio

At this point I half expected:
“ETA Cruises now offers blockchain-enabled wellness journeys for disruptive mobility enthusiasts.”

Final Verdict

Is ETA Cruises truly back?

Maybe.

But right now it feels more like:
“ETA: Estimated Time of Apparition.”

Would I trust it enough to hand over a deposit?

Not unless I saw actual customers, real sailing schedules, and a biker holding today’s newspaper standing next to the ship.

The evolution from dead domain to suspicious AI-generated cruise fantasy.

And yes… I absolutely wasted 30 minutes chasing this rabbit hole.

And honestly?
That may be the most entertaining kind of internet nonsense.

If you're feeling amused and /or motivated.... take the URL for a ride:  ETA Motorcycle Cruises, LLC
