🍺 FINALLY!!! Got My Number! 😂

Well... it finally happened.

I'm officially in the BrewBirds Mug Club! 🍻

Last year, when they rolled this thing out for 2025, I seriously considered it.

I did the math... (which, let's be honest, was a complete no-brainer.)

Then my logical side kicked in...

"Rick... you don't even drink that much beer anymore. You've migrated over to bourbon and other adult beverages."

So... I talked myself out of it.

Big mistake. HUGE. 🤦‍♂️

I've regretted that decision about every single time I've walked into BrewBirds since.

Because here's the reality...

Roll in after a long motorcycle ride?

🍺 Ice-cold beer.

Finished mowing in 100° Texas heat?

🍺 Ice-cold beer.

Met friends for lunch?

🍺 Yep.

Watching a game?

🍺 Obviously.

Tuesday?

🍺 Seems reasonable.

You get the picture. 😂

Now, if I actually lived across the street from BrewBirds, they'd probably have to start budgeting for my account separately.

The membership is $125 a year.

If I only use it once a week, that's roughly 52 beers.

If a mug normally runs around $6-$8, that's somewhere between $300-$400 worth of beer... plus I get my own numbered mug hanging on the wall.

Of course... my brain immediately took a wrong turn and started doing Rick Math...

"So... if I stop by every day... that's basically 365 'free' beers a year!" 🤣

(I probably shouldn't let Lucy read that part.)

And the best part?

At the end of the year, when I renew for 2027, I get to bring this year's mug home to the man cave. That's a pretty cool souvenir and another conversation piece for the bar.

I managed to snag Mug #xx (ain't telling yoU!) so if you happen to see it hanging up there... leave it alone.

It's working hard waiting for me.
