Headed down to the Island last week, for the Third Coast Music Festival. I believe it was the first time they've held it; 40 bands, 8 + venues, 50 performances. The weather was perfect the entire time, gulf was calm and spectacular and ..... had a damned good time! Temps were in the 70s during the day, 60s at night. What more can one ask for?
Icing on the cake was we got to spend some time with family that has moved down here from MN recently. They are in the process of buying a house and sealing the deal. Two days of playing with these guys on the beach and in the water, had the body aching and moaning reminding me ... well... I ain't getting younger!
