More Dicks' In Texas!

Brother Dick and his bride have been visiting us for several years down here in Galveston and Greenville.  For a few years, he's been saying he was going to move south to Tejas' but was dragging his feet on pulling the 'Retirement Trigger.'  Still, the last year or so, Holly has been looking at job openings down in Houston and Dallas.  Well, she started getting bites earlier this year just as the Wuhan Virus BS started....  Then Brother Dick had a turn of events that led to him to pull the plug and officially retire.  All the planets lined up, and the best thing ever came of it all.  

After our IIRA event the first weekend in Russelville AR, 2.5 months ago, Holly had a job interview that timed with their visit with us here in Greenville. Within weeks she had an offer.  They put up their home for sale and had a half dozen folks check it out on their first open house, and got an offer well over asking price and .... it was game on!  Within days, they found a home down here, offer accepted and ... .the paperwork began!

Holly came down several weeks ago, started the new job.  Brother Dick soon got everything packed up and headed this way rolling South!   We got to spend several awesome weeks with them staying with us, then mama and I were off to South Padre Island last week, while they closed on their home and took Peanut with them for the weekend.

We finally got a chance to see it last night when we picked up Peanut and it's beautiful   Larger than their last home, nice neighborhood, and ...  Brother Dick is already setting up everything into motion to get a swimming pool built soon to be ready for Summer.

Gotta' Love it when a plan comes together!   I feel a lot of great weekends coming.  Lot of Galveston Island trips coming.  Lot of Mexico trips coming.
