MS Trip : Post Covid

View from the Front Deck

Well, that trip was a twist.  Just got back from MS yesterday after being gone about 10 days or so.  Jimmy and Rozzie had tickets via Gulfport airport so were focused on making it happen.  I'd just had Covid and 'recovered', Lucy was just coming out of it and had tested positive early in the week.  CDC says 4 or 5 days post test,  you can move forward .. so we did.  First we contacted our family in MS to make sure they were aware.  They said "come on down!".  Told the Farleys and they were like "already had it!".  So, fuk' it.. we rolled.   But the problem was... Lucy still wasn't 100% .  Didn't realize that until she'd spent 8 hours in the vehicle.

Once there, we were back in our MS Groove, but ...   moving slow.  I may have been over the bug, but as it'd turn out I'd drag ass for the next week. She never 100% recovered....  moving slow.  One day felt okay, few hours later, taking a nap.  Each day was a toss up for her.  In retrospect not sure we should have made that trip, but the Farleys had $$ invested and only so much time off, so we made it work.

I'd really hoped to hit more restaurants and nightly 'party's' but we made the best of it.  When they'd landed it was pouring rain, but every day after that was partly sunny and the pool was nice for a swim.  Still, felt off.  We spent Labor Day with everyone at our place.. but.. felt a lil off.  Fell 'off' the whole week and still .. .not 100% as I type this. This go around (our 4th?) with the Wuhan crap really kicked our ass.

Still, made it out to multiple places.  Everyday in the pool.  Kicked it a up a lil most evenings.  But definitely need a redo of sorts.  Maybe... Mardi Gras??

Water Temps?  PERFECT
