Wolves hiding in the Bushes

Yesterday morning I got a text that completely caught me off guard  for a couple of reasons.   I’ve been having conversations with one person that have been…. interesting .. for the last few days, and then was reached out to by someone I hadn’t seen in awhile.  I assumed the first person was screwing with me at first, but reading through yesterday’s message I quickly realized it was from an old friend I rarely converse with.  I quickly responded with “ Let me digest this...caught me off guard!”   Their response?  “Surprised by another wolf hiding in the bushes? I’m sure there are many of us out there!”     Yes, I was surprised …   and glad to hear from them.  And I know there are many out there!   What I found most interesting is this person has stayed tuned in at various levels just as many have to see how this all plays out. I’ve told many a person over the last year this is like a Reality TV show , but non scripted and so off the charts that it doesn’t seem believable.  But,  if one does the research and locates the facts, it’s real. Sadly real.  One thing that jumped out at me was pointing out the ONLY reason they became aware of my blog is because someone ‘not so bright’ … that’s funny right there .. shared it off for the world to see. Before he did that, I had single digit viewers a day, vs the high volume it has today in comparison. I took the liberty of deleting 50% of the message content ( hence all the ...... )  sent to me yesterday to 'protect the innocent'. .  But the gist of it all, remains intact.    What would be interesting is if .. more wolves hiding in the bushes, came forth?  Per their request I did not share off their personal info and kept it private as I've done for many others that have reached out over the last year.

“Hi Rick. ….. . Met you …….. back in xxxx. ......  have been following your blog for over a year now—right after our not so bright “friend” made it known — along with the Oklahoma saga— on Facebook. .......  have been meaning to drop you a note of encouragement and support .......  for a long time now. ……….. Always knew the games he played but like you tended to give him the benefit of the doubt for years as we made some wonderful friends through the dealership. ……..we decided enough was enough. …………………. have not said anything publicly because I want to continuing following the story! But be assured I did some quick research online after the Oklahoma story and it doesn’t take a brain surgeon to see the truth. ……………At any rate, i hope you keep the story going as long as there are facts that effect the Motorcycle community. I plan to stay quiet and ask you not to share my name at this time because I want to follow the story to its end — and check out his new “endeavor” — whatever the hell that is and whomever was foolish enough to get involved with the guy. Once again, thanks for the updates and have a great riding season……... I look forward to riding this summer drama free!”
