Galveston is ..... Opening

 Wow....  lil things ... are sorta' big things...

While at a Title Company yesterday , we stopped down on the Strand for lunch. We were about to head home but ... hungry!  First thing I notice...  Carnival Cruise line is 'back!'.   Apparently yesterday, they floated back in.  A sign of things soon, to return to the way they were.  Do they start next month cruising?  Late summer?  Not sure.. but... they wouldn't do it , if they didn't see the financial value of preparing.  The days was nice we said ...  screw it.. and grabbed a few drinks to stay on the Island another day.

 

Walking down the strand, the chocolate shop had their stuffed bear out. No big deal .. he's always there right?  Nope.  He disappeared last Feb/Mar when the Wuhan Crap began.. but.. he's back.  Still a lot of morons with masks on... most stores have signs asking you to wear one (but don't enforce it).....   still  a sign of normalcy.
