Convoy with Four Fire Teams in vehicles, one Fire Team in the Chopper led by US Marshal On a FB Group (tied back to my early USAF days) today when Michael Kurtz chimed in and a rush of memories came back at me .  I quickly responded with the below. Out on the site, the multiple fire teams were taking a break while the maint guys did the war head swap. You were looking like a badass in your Jungle fatigues , while everyone else were in a normal green fatigues. I was an AIC at the time. One of the other A1Cs was rolling up your sleeves in a perfect fashion. So, me being a smart ass said something along the lines of "hey ***" ( I don't remember his name) .." how about your roll up our sleeves? For those that know me well, know I work 365, 24/7 .. .basically.   As long as I have my phone and laptop, I can work from pretty much .. anywhere.   The problem becomes finalizing contracts and other miscellaneous documents, with a signature.  I solved this problem about a decade ago by purchasing Adobe Acrobat.  All I wanted it for was to be able to sign my documents and send them off via email.  I'd spent years printing off documents, filling them out, scanning them, attach to and email and hit .  And, what happens when I'm traveling and don't have access to a printer and/or scanner?  When I discovered Adobe I gulped at the $300 cost, but ended up expensing it anyways.   Over the years, I've gotten addicted to it's functionally.   Not just for digitally signing, but able to manipulate most PDFs since they aren't locked usually.  The last time I upgraded laptops I had the original download copy and S/N, and moved...

"Millions are going to die.  I'm going to die ".   Well, at least it seems like this if you watch MSM and listen to many of the folks buying into the BS.  I understood the travel ban, but the President has gotten a lot of bad advice on the rest.  Didn't help that he's had lynch mobs around him looking for reasons to try for another impeachment. So far in Hunt Country where I reside most of the time, we are up to 22 cases.  Out of that, 2 have past away and yes ... they had other medical issues/complications.  Leanne and I stay home most of the time, unless I need to run out to the grocery store or get some takeout.  Clean the hands and stay away from anyone that looks ... rough (cough cough) Gotta tell you though ... if they ever get around to testing everyone to see if you'd actually had it... should be interesting.  We were down in Galveston for a few weeks when this all kicked off, with few other couples.   On about the third day, I had a splitting headache each morning for about a week.  Then I got to where I had a pain in my chest; felt like someone had punched me, right in the center.  But, we were drinking like fools and the joke was I had a hangover. Everyday, we'd repeat and do it again.   I've joked from day one that Tequila kills the virus, but hey .. never know....

I've been preaching about the Dave Ramsey process for over a decade.  Approximately fifteen years ago I  woke up to reality.  I was in the middle of a job change and had an epiphany.  That was ... if I lost my job, I was at risk of having to sell off a lot of shit.  My boat wasn't paid for .  My car wasn't paid for.  I had a couple too many credit cards with a balance on them.  I had a lot of bad habits, and they could cost me in the long run if I didn't get it together.   Crazy part is, overall on investments I was knowledgeable. But being knowledgeable and doing something with the info, were two different things.  Finally, the wife and I came together on a plan an moved forward.  Game Changer.  Life Changer.  We followed Dave Ramsey's seven steps on the way to Financial Freedom.  Why bring that up now? Was in Dollar General earlier today, when I had an epiphany.  Apparently I'm far from the first, but came up with the idea on my own, though far from the only one on this track. While in line, struck up a conversation with the customer in front of me and the subject was about no hand sanitizers available and when you did find them, they  are a rip off.  Didn't think much more about it until I got in the car and thought " can't I make my own?" I was going to head to Tin Cup for some Ever-clear when I remembered I had a bottle at the house.  Thought "I'll just put some in a small bottle and splash it on my hands!"   I went by a Dollar Tree, found two small spray bottles so it was game on.   I rolled by Tin Cup for some good whiskey and scotch anyways; it's Friday!  While checking out I notice a spray bottle next to the register and I'm thinking " Huh?  No way!"  Sure enough, it had ever-clear in it.  I told them what I was thin...
