Feel the Fury!

Some things.. you just have to see the humor in.

Back in the Kings Mountain Indian days, I became aware of Fury Motorcycle.  Why? Well, I've never been to their location.  But, I was made aware of them by a competing dealer of theirs that had a hard on for them.  Back in the Gilroy Indian days, they were the go to dealer in the Twin Cities.  But when
Gilroy closed their doors in Sep 2003, they lost their main supplier.  Like a few .. and there were only a few .. that survived that turmoil, they turned to other options.  One of those was the Big Dog Motorcycle brand.  Apparently they also delved into other customs as well as the used HD market.  Interestingly , the North winds Iron Indian chapter has long held their meetings here at this location and continue to do so, even when Indian Motorcycle was revived during the Kings Mountain generation.  Down the road so to speak, a new dealer opened up selling Indians but the IIRA were not welcomed with open arms due to new ownership's attitude towards Fury and the IIRAs relationship.  Fury has survived all these years; who knows, maybe they'll become an Indian Dealer under Polaris Umbrella?   In any case, they've withstood the test of time; the demise of the recent Twin Cities Indian dealer is proof of that...

Knock off of the Indian Brand?
Now... the humor. A bike was conceived of this past summer pieced together in time for an annual event held there.  The new dealer has a fetish for the word "INDIO" and it found it's way onto the tank of the bike.   Apparently this has a  Mexican slant, vs the native American slant?   Makes sense; person doing it is not Native American but ... of Mexican heritage.  Though the painting itself is first class, the nature of the art work leaves a lot to be desired.   Hell, I'm surprised Indian Motorcycle themselves allowed it.   I even saw some clowns out in Vegas selling shirts with something similar on them.  Maybe the Twin City dealer stole their idea?  Who knows...

Well, the other day I notice that Fury is selling a '17 Springfield Indian Motorcycle with less than 200 miles on it .. and ... it's from the dealership that is currently in receivership.  I'm guessing it was never titled and ended up at some type of Auction?  Who knows; but there it on the showroom floor.  And that folks .. is PURE IRONY.   And as I like to say .. some funny shit!

This bike on the Fury Floor? Now THAT .. is some funny shit!

I saw that bike posted up for sale there myself last week. FIRST thing that went thru my mind was HOW in the heck does he walk thru the doors of that Business that he spent years and years talking BS about? Now if Fury Motors acquired HIS (ex-10% owner of Twin Cities Indian) personal bike thru and auction or under the table deal...who cares at this point. The fact remains is that, even if it's on consignment.... ;)
The #Indioidiot out tooled himself once and for all. No matter where he resurfaces. No matter in what capacity, I've closed the door on his weak ass. Good Riddance! #Lastlaugh

Intel is that ... approx 5 bikes with low miles on them ( ie not 'new' ) were auctioned off at ended up at Fury Motorcycle.
